3005 aluminum plates used for refrigerator

3005 aluminum plates for AL – Mn alloy, is one of the most widely used antirust aluminum, this kind of the strength of the alloy is not high, (slightly higher than that of industrial pure aluminum). It can’t strengthen by heat treatment. The cold working method is adopted to improve its mechanical properties.

Purpose is mainly used for something need high plasticity and good weldability, and as low load parts working in a liquid or gas medium, such as oil tank, gas or oil duct, other various liquid containers and made parts of deep drawing: wire used for rivet.

3005 aluminum plates (Al-Mg) is approximately 20% higher strength than alloy 3003 with superior corrosion resistance. 3 series aluminum sheet is also called anti-rust aluminum. Manganese is added to 3005, contenting 1.0% -1.5%, so it has a better anti-rust function and is widely used. But the price is much higher than the 1000 series.
