3mm 5052 aviation aluminum sheet/plate

Jianhui’s 3mm 5052 aluminum sheet/plate and 6061 alloys are available in a range of esthetically pleasing mechanical and chemical finishes such as mirrored bright finish, smooth satin matte finish, and classic brushed finish. All are available in a variety of colors, and can be applied directly to the coil so a finishing step can be eliminated from the process.

Welding of strain hardened tempers will reduce strengths in the heat affected zones. Machining Machinability of the softer 3mm 5052 aluminum sheet/plate tempers O and H32 is poor, with the harder tempers such as H34 being somewhat easier to machine.

Anodize quality aluminum sheet, or 5052 aluminum, is an alloy produced from aluminum, magnesium and chromium. The alloy has a significantly lower melting point than pure aluminum, making it non-heat treatable, and is not brittle. Anodized coatings on 5052 are bright and clear.
