Typical markets include chemical equipment, reflectors, heat exchangers, architectural applications, and many more. The 1145 and 1235 alloys can be used as substitutes except when comparing burst values when strength is critical.

AMS-QQA-250/1 1100 aluminum 1100 ASTM B479 -0 is a low strength aluminum alloy with excellent corrosion resistance. This grade is best used for welding, brazing and soldering but has poor machinability. 1100 aluminum has great finishing capabilities so it is a great choice for decorative purposes.
